Sweets Style: The Cravory
Anyone who knows me knows that the only thing I love more then fashion, is sweets. That’s why I couldn’t help but blog about the most unreal cookies I have ever tasted while I was at an Emmy’s gifting suite at The London hotel last week.
The Cravory, was founded by 3 young (and cute) guys in San Diego where the bakery still resides. These are the “CHANEL” of all cookies. With unconventional, custom cookie creations from “Red Velvet to “Oatmeal Pear Fig” to more unique combo’s like, ”Rosemary Balsamic” and “Pancakes and Bacon” ( I haven’t tried this one but the Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky, swears it the BEST cookie of the collection!
Although a tad pricey at $24 per dozen, they are well worth it. I promise you!! And you will be amazed at how random ingredients that may sound “nasty” together, will actually having you craving for more. yummers….

Hair Battle Spectacular says “Please leave the stage” to Cajmonet….
This week I met the #1 bad girl herself, Miss Natalie Nunn. I have to say, at first I was like Oh Sh*t….that crazy girl is coming on this show??? But right when I met her, I knew she was cool. I even got into it with her a little bit in this weeks episode! In the end, Cajmonet didn’t make the cut, and with the collaboration of my fellow judges thoughts, I delivered my “famous” exit line of “Please leave the stage”

Lindsay’s Lusts: TKEES: Somewhere over the rainbow there is a flip flop in EVERY color imaginable!
TKEES, the self proclaimed , “Cosmetics for your feet” flip-flop collection is the best thing to happen to flip-flops since Havaianas. The best part is, is that they come in over 40 colors and they are slightly dressier then the rubber staple we all have.
I have the pewter color and the black and I adore. Buy them up baby!!

Brian Litchtenberg Collection for Forever 21
REASON: Designer Brian Litchtenberg, known for his skin tight, structured shouldered dresses, launches a capsule collection with everyone’s affordable guilty pleasure… Forever 21
LOCATION: The Terrace, at The Beverly Center
GRUB: Ahi tuna on wontons, mac and cheese, some apple/cheese thing, and chicken skewers. Then they proceeded to pass around mini cupcakes in every flavor known to man and I DID’NT HAVE ONE! it was hard and not fun
NOVELTY: When we arrived there were long tables set up with all kinds of rhinestones, chains, buttons, pins, beads etc. to decorate shirts with. At the end of the night BLitchtenberg judges the t-shirts and the winner wins $1,000!! We didn’t win (lame) but our shirt was damn good and it was nice to do something creative at an event other than waxing lyrical!
LOOT:Their signature “yield sign” yellow plastic bag filled with jewelry, make-up bag, nail polish, lip gloss, mirror and of course a Brian Litchtenberg for Forever 21 t-shirt

Lindsay’s Latest: Resort Jewelry by Amrita Singh Jewelry
Even though Fall is just around the corner and stores are filling up with coats and sweaters, all I gravitate to is bright colors and sundresses!!
This is probably because I’m going to Cabo for my 30th (AAHHHHHH!) in 2 weeks!! woohoo! you know your soo jealzzz!
So what a wonderful suprise it was when a box of Amarita Singh jewelry showed up on my doorstep for myself and my celeb clients to enjoy.

HAIR BATTLE SPECTACULAR- EP. 1- Rewind
So the time was finally here on August 10th when Hair Battle Spectacular Premiered on The Oxygen Network.
The experience that day was totally unexpected. I mean, I’m a WARDROBE stylist! the only fantasy hair I had ever seen was when I was 14 years old and decided to put permanent black streaks in my BLONDE hair with my HANDS…needless to say that DEFINITLY looked better in my fantasy, let me tell you. It was horrendous. It dripped everywhere and then to my surprise, would not wash out. AT ALL. Days later I went into hours of “hair surgery” to get my “do” back to a normal shade. My mom was not happy.
Ok back to the main topic. Day 1 of Hair Battle far exceeded my expectations. When I was brought on to judge the “overall look” Ihad no idea where the minds of these hair artists could take me. Malibu’s coconut concoction was by far my favorite. As for Roo, even though I loved the whole hangover story (we’ve all been there) I just thought the hair was pretty basic compared to his competiton.
10 contestants to start with, 1 down, 8 more to be eliminated (does that sound harsh or what?)
Who will be the grand champ?? oh wouldn’t you love to know. Tune in…its gonna get ugly!!!

An intimate evening with fine jewelry designer, Susan Foster
REASON: Famed jewelry designer Susan Foster invited 20 privileged editors, publicists, and influencers to dine with her while previewing her latest collection of baubles.
WHERE: Lucques in West Hollywood. I honestly have driven by this place EVERY day for the passed 5 years, and have never been in until now! What a shame it took me so long because the cuisine was exquisite and the portions were not microscopic like I may have expected from such a fancy place.
FARE: I started with the cilantro salad then had the white fish with some corn and tomato amazingness. Delish. We ended it with this unreal panacotta dessert with fruit and champagne slush on top…it was yum-ridiculous and I would go back just to eat that!!
LIBATIONS: Champs of course!
GOODIES: Every guest left with a gift bag including a champagne split (good one!) Susan Foster candle, and gift certificate to her boutique in Brentwood.
DESIGNER DEETS: Susan Foster is known for her diamond slices and the meticulous micro pave settings she incoprates into the artistry of her pieces. Please check out some of my favorites below. I actually wore the snake bracelet in my promotion photo shoot for Hair Battle Spectacular.
