This is the FIRST Tuesday’s Tip video ( I think they call it a vlog) FROM NOW ON! no more writers block and grammar issues. I’m giving my tips to you face to face!
I’m diving into the world of vids to share with you all the tips and tricks of my styling travels. Please leave me comments and let me know if you have any beauty, organizations, fashion, style, tailoring questions! I have answers!
Spring hasn’t sprung yet, but it will here soon….that means, shorts season!! (some gasp at the thought)
Unless you have itty bittys, don’t let those shorts hug your thighs! Shop for trouser shorts or styles that are really ro0my, wide, or flowy around the thigh area. It will give the illusion of slimmer stems!

This weeks TT was inspired by a photo shoot I styled last week. It was with actress Emily Deschanel who is a vegan, and won’t wear anything that comes from an animal either. That means all the glorious (sorry not sorry) cashmere, silk, wool, leather….. OUT. Yes, it was a toughie. Espesh when trying to pull shoes!
I learned that knowing if a shoe is vegan or not is as easy as looking at the bottom of the shoe at the store. Any sole that has the little “leather” icon below, means obviously that there are animal products in the shoe. Even Emily didn’t know this little trick! So I had to share. I cant believe that I schooled a vegan on her own turf. haha!

Bored of your winter coat or jacket? Maybe you have a few in the closet your just kind of “over” but hate to give them away, just. yet. ?
I always try to do a “button-lift” before making that decision. Take your coat/jacket to the local fabric store and try out some new buttons against your jacket. You will be surprised at how a little switch out can revive your old stand by. It’s like a facelift. Same face, just a little fresher and revived!

(I recommend taking the old buttons off before you go to the store so you can visualize the new buttons on the coat better)
And that’s your TT for the week!
KNEE HIGH BOOTS
When wearing skirts or dresses with knee high boots, the hem should fall above or below the knee. As long as the boots don’t align with them hem, you’re good!
This condemned pic below may not look that bad but trust me, this picture is super posed, not real life, and extremely hard to pull off! #notflattering

This is how ya do it. Or the dress has to hit below the top of the boot!
