EEK!
With no-disrespect, the PRADA Fall 2011 campaign is not making me want to buy a thing!
With the gaggle of mismatched textures, from shag fur, to snakeskin, to shiny palettes, it’s just strange to me.
I don’t mean to knock the art of editorial fashion shoots, but aren’t they ultimately trying to sell the clothes?
Judging from a few of these images, I only to the likes of ALF, or some kooky Beverly Hills Grandma purchasing.
On a positive note, thank you for the very out-of-the-box imagery! It definitely got me talking and interested in seeing more!
These images start to get better………
This is my favorite image. The colors and the textures flow, but you still have the drama with the pale background, and the girls complexions, letting the product and clothes be the focal point.
What do you think?
Jewelry is my weakness. I MIGHT even say more then shoes….hmmmm that’s a close call for sure.
During my styling travels this past week, I came across a new jewelry collection called Blue Candy Jewelry
Anything stone, agate, or oxidized diamonds makes me all excited, so I was especially interested in these baubles.
With prices ranging from $50-$3,600, theres obviously something for everyone!!!
THE cuff is my ulimate FAVE….

I’m having a McQueen moment these days. I’m quite picky about the prints I wear because they have to be done right.
But this….this is a print people!
It’s perfectly balanced with the flow of the print, and the parts of the body it highlights with out distorting your figure, and making you look bigger then you are.
Want it!

Yeah, I know summer is in full swing, and all we can think about is the shortest shorts, and flowy dresses….
But the fashion biz is already working on thier Resort and Fall collections and I can’t help but to dream of the seasons to come. I recently came upon the Alexander Mcqueen Resort Collection, and I want, I want, I want…..I might hike up those skirt hems a little though, just cause that’s what I do!
So strong and chic….

I despise those harsh fold lines when unpacking my suitcase….
Especially since most of my clothing for summer is either silk or cotton, and those fabrics seem to attract wrinkles by someone just breathing on them
Soooooo…….to avoid firing up my steamer on vaca, I roll all my clothes like burritos and line them up in my suitcase.
Problem solved…no harsh lines!
Rolling your clothes also maximizes space in your suitcase.
Try it next time, its the only way I pack!
